RenovoLocal connects homeowners with vetted, licensed local craftspeople — the people who actually do good work, the way you'd want it done in your own home.

We're not a directory. We're not a lead broker. We're a curated marketplace built on a simple idea: when you're ready to renovate or repair your home, you should be matched with one trusted professional — not bombarded by ten.

Why we exist

Home services lead generation is broken.

If you've ever filled out a form on Angi, HomeAdvisor, or Thumbtack, you know what happens next. Your phone rings five times in the next twenty minutes. Your inbox fills with cold pitches from strangers. The "matches" you receive are whoever paid the highest fee that day — not the contractor most qualified for your project.

Contractors hate it too. They pay $4,800 a year to be one of seven names in a homeowner's inbox, racing to undercut each other on price, knowing five of them will lose every job before it even starts.

The system is bad for both sides. So we built something different.

How we're different

One project, one pro. When you submit a project, we match you with the right craftsperson for your specific work — based on skill, service area, reviews, and current availability. No bidding wars. No spam calls. No phone ringing off the hook.

Vetted before they're listed. Every contractor on RenovoLocal is independently verified — license, insurance, and background screening — before they ever see your project. Most platforms don't verify insurance at all. We do.

Or three quotes, on request. For larger renovation projects where comparison shopping makes sense, you can opt into a curated three-quote mode. We still match you with three pros qualified for your specific scope — not seven random listings.

Free for homeowners. Always. No accounts, no fees, no upsells. Contractors pay us when we send them qualified work. You never pay a cent.

Our standards

Every contractor on RenovoLocal must clear four verification gates before they receive a single lead:

  1. Email verification — confirmed business email, not a free Gmail
  2. License verification — current state contractor license appropriate to the service category, verified against state licensing board records
  3. Insurance verification — active general liability insurance with current coverage, policy number on file
  4. Onboarding call — direct conversation with our team to confirm business operations, service area, and project capacity

We re-verify license and insurance status periodically. Contractors who let either lapse are removed from active matching until they're current again.

RenovoLocal is currently active in:

  • Texas — Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio
  • Florida — Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville
  • Georgia — Atlanta, Savannah, Augusta

We're expanding to Arizona, California, and Colorado in 2026. If you're outside our active states, you can join the waitlist and we'll let you know the moment we launch in your area.

RenovoLocal is a service of GrowthArmy LLC, a Washington limited liability company headquartered in Seattle. GrowthArmy operates a small portfolio of marketplace and lead-generation businesses, with RenovoLocal as our renovation and home services brand.
